It was an impromptu FDF this year and it turned out great! We made a total of $115 through paypal and at least $10 through snail mail so far. I'll check my mail when I get home on Wednesday and give an update if there are any more snail mail donations in my box. That ends us with 125% of our goal reached!!!

We're not even a week into FDF '08 and we have already met our goal! You are such an awesome community. Seeing donations like these really show the appreciation of everybody. It is an encouragement in and of itself. Since we have over a week left, I say we try to double the goal. What do you all think?

Five Dollar Frenzy is about to begin. This is your chance to give back to the community that strives to serve you. While we will never charge you, the members, to be a part of this community, there is an expense on our part. Unfortunately, there are still server costs, advertising costs, etc.

The games will begin on September 1st and go through the end of September 14th.

What's Five-Dollar Frenzy?
Five-Dollar Frenzy is an annual fundraiser for The Jesus Joint. The challenge is for each person to donate five bucks. Of course, if you want to give more, we're not stopping you. Every penny collected will be used to helped cut down on costs needed to run this place, which range from server upgrades to advertising to postage for CD giveaways.
How can I donate?
There are all kinds of ways you can donate. We're a fan of donating by PayPal, which can be done by using the Paypal menu above. In addition to having your money securely sent immediately, those who donate via PayPal will have the capability to see how and when their contribution is used. Note that you can also use your credit card with PayPal. To do so, click the "Donate Now With PayPal" button above, enter the amount you would like to donate in the designated box and then click the button indicating that you do not currently have a PayPal account.
If you don't have a PayPal account or credit card, no sweat. You can snail mail a check, money order, or even a five-dollar bill. Make your checks and money orders payable to Travis Rogers. Mail them to the same guy at the following address:
